Dear friends, readers, living beings,
I have always struggled to pursue only one specific interest for a long time. I am often fascinated by new subjects or hobbies. Picked it up and see if it will stick for a while. I sometimes return back to my old interest but it’s uncommon for me to stick to one interest only. I tried to map my interest and knowledge domain once. It went wild quickly. I am knowledgeable in environmental engineering topics, water treatment, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, air quality, sanitation, and other related topics. I also learned about behavior change, its framework, and its application. I love playing games and lately, designing games. I’m obsessed with notetaking, journaling, and doing reflection. I tricked a couple of my friends into thinking that I’m suitable to be a linguist. I mean I shared some words etymology, tried some languages (including American Sign Language (ASL)), and my learning from a book titled ‘Metaphors We Live By’ by George Lakoff. I got so deep that I learned what knowledge is and knowledge about knowledge. What I learn is called epistemology anyway.
This time, I dump some links that fascinated me over the last four weeks. What you just read is just a precursor to this nerd dump. I need to dump it because I feel like it. Hope you will like some of them.
Coding of clouds. Apparently, clouds can be coded. I thought we only named them according to how they look but there is a more elaborate way to describe them.
Plagiarism Today Plagiarized in a Plagiarism Atonement Essay. When a site that fights plagiarism is being plagiarized.
The End Credits to Humanity - YouTube. It’s a visualized short story. A youtube video. A nice existentialism fiction.
How Tiny Living Spaces Affect Our Wellbeing—Individually and Societally. The article discusses how our living spaces became smaller and how it affects us. To me, it’s an important reminder to have good urban planning.
If you think emulators are illegal, you're wrong - YouTube. I played a lot of Gameboy games on my computer when I was still a teenager. I thought emulators are illegal but phew, it’s not illegal actually. I don’t know if I steal games or just download free games now.
That’s all the dump for today. I wonder if it’s more common to learn various things or to focus on a few things. How about you?
See you next time.
Stay sane, stay healthy, and stay awesome neighbor!Sincerely,
your nerdy neighbor
